An Interested buyer is looking for the following businesses to purchase.

Location: Southeast Michigan, Detroit-Metro, Ann Arbor

Target Industries:  Service, Manufacturing, Retail (open to all industries for the right business)

Ideal  Businesses:

Looking for a profitable business with a sound business model and potential for future growth.

The business should be established with a proven track record of stable revenues and profitability (minimum $50K EBITDA, but ideally looking for $100K - $500K and ability to meet short/long term cash obligations from day 1).

Acquisition to be financed through a combination of own cash, bank financing and possibly seller financing.  Ability to bring in investors to finance the right opportunity.  A portion of seller financing is preferred as it demonstrates confidence in the business being sold.

Open to various scenarios of buyout arrangements/contracts and keeping seller on for employment contract for negotiable period of time following the sale.

Win/Win - Most of all, interested in a fair deal where buyer and seller feel an equitable transaction has been reached.

Franchise business (es) are also of interest.

Motivation for Buying:

Currently, I travel on a regular weekly basis providing management, Finance and IT consulting services and have experience working across multiple industries.  My goal is to purchase an existing business, which I will run, where I can utilize the skills I have developed over the years to create growth and stability for myself and my family.

I have experience managing small businesses (sole proprietor and partnerships) and understand what it takes to be successful.  I have also worked in industry for several companies and consultancies in the areas of finance, accounting and operations management.   

Ideally, I would like to acquire a business as soon as the right opportunity comes along and preferably would like to be an owner/operator of the day-to-day business.  I’m willing to look at all industries and businesses in the Greater Detroit/Ann Arbor area.
